The "Theotokos Foundation" has completed or is currently involved in the following programs:

• The foundation is certified as a specialized training center for young adults with learning disabilities. Dozens of Training Courses are run every year through the Greek ministry of labor funded by ESF and Social Exclusion funds.
• The foundation is also certified as a training center for Continuing Adult training, our clients are both unemployed or employees of the current welfare system with yearly courses on rehabilitation and educational intervention for clients with learning disabilities.
• Theotokos has participated in European programs such as:
  • Helios I on educational mainstreaming.
  • On Helios II on financial integration of persons with disabilities.
  • On Horizon for the financial integration of the disabled.
  • Tide for the development of software for the disabled.
  • Leonardo Da Vinci for the improvement of our vocational training and job placement service.

The foundation is continuously seeking good partnerships in order to cooperate and develop good practices in the field of rehabilitation and learning disabilities.

In the fall of 1999 the foundation hosted a conference on "Social Inclusion through job placement". The conference was a success and we plan to host such conferences every two years through the ESF project of Social Exclusion.
